#198 - Letter from an Unknown Woman (1948)

August 25, 2018

Interesting film particularly from a cinematographic perspective. The shots and angles were well choreographed to show the events. However, this film is a little stale in terms of the emotions and acting. It’s another example honestly of a shift to portray women as sexual conquests without any power in life and that they need to be dominated by a man to help him.
